Yes — we currently ship from UK to the United States via Royal Mail Tracked. For US orders, estimated import duties and taxes are included in our USD pricing. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

What are your shipping options?
For UK orders, we offer Standard shipping (Royal Mail Tracked 48®, 2–3 working days). Larger items, such as Floor Lamps, ship via Parcelforce.
For US orders, we ship via Royal Mail International Tracked with an estimated delivery of 5–8 business days once dispatched. A flat rate of $10 USD applies to orders over $50 USD — standard weight-based rates apply to smaller orders.
Please allow 1–3 business days for processing before dispatch.
Will I be charged import duties on my US order?
To make the process easy for our customers our USD prices include a calculated import duty uplift to cover anticipated US customs charges, so what you see at checkout is what you should pay. Please note that while we do our best to reflect accurate duty costs, US Customs and Border Protection may occasionally levy additional processing fees outside our estimate — these remain the responsibility of the recipient. We have no control over such charges and cannot guarantee their amount.
I just placed an order. Where is my shipping confirmation?
Please allow us 1-4 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. Once it has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
Can I cancel my order?
When an order is placed on Willow Tree Decor, we begin processing it immediately to ensure prompt delivery.
We are unable to cancel or change an order once it has been submitted, but upon receipt you are welcome to return the items - however, we do not cover return shipping costs.
What is pre-order, and when will my items ship?
Pre-order is a way of guaranteeing you will receive the product you want in your request. Items are on pre-ordered anywhere from 8 weeks to 12 weeks, unless stated otherwise, and ship about a week after we receive the inventory in our warehouse. We do our best to include delivery estimates on the product pages for your convenience. If there are ever any delays in production, we will reach out to you as soon as possible.
My order shows as delivered, where is it?
Once we ship, the delivery time is dependent the speed of shipping selected with Royal Mail. During the holidays, please allow extra time for delivery of your order. With the courier's tracking number provided, please contact the courier for further delivery details after you place your order if needed.
We ship to the address specified in the order. Please make sure that you entered your information correctly. Willow Tree Decor is not responsible for issues relating to incorrect or undeliverable addresses and does not pay for shipping related to such issues.

Every piece begins here. Ian is based in SE Asia and visits this family's workshop regularly (he's got the best job!). It's where we've built a relationship rooted in trust, craft, and shared values. The lady here is K. Max (nickname). Her skill is incredible!
At the heart of the workshop stands a traditional wood-fired brick kiln. The same design used by the family for generations.
The process starts with clay sourced directly from the local river. Each batch is kneaded by hand to remove air and achieve the right consistency.
Working with steady hands and practised instinct, the clay takes its first form on a traditional potter's wheel.
No two pieces are shaped in exactly the same way. Each one responds to the touch of the maker.
Once the clay is firm enough, the artisan selects a hand tool to begin carving. The designs are drawn from the family's own creative tradition.
Each pattern is carved freehand, a skill that takes years to develop and cannot be replicated by machine.
The finished pieces are carefully packed into large firing pots, which protect them and control the flow of heat and smoke during firing.
For the distinctive black and grey finishes, rice husks (a by-product of the local rice harvest) are added to the firing pots. The husks reduce oxygen inside the kiln, creating the deep, smoky tones.
The firing pots are loaded into the kiln by hand. The placement affects how heat and smoke move around each piece. Another variable that makes every item unique.
Inside the kiln, pieces are stacked with care. The firing process takes hours, with the wood fuelling a slow, controlled burn that develops the final colour and finish.
A simple, natural by-product of the harvest. Rice husks have been used for centuries to create the rich, earthy tones that define our ceramics collection.
